Bookings & changes
Plans switched up? No worries! Here’s how to book stress-free and what to do if your adventure needs a little reschedule.
How do I book a tour with Trekker?
Easier than picking a playlist for your road trip! Just go to our website, pick your adventure, fill in your info and done — confirmation straight to your inbox. Prefer the old-school way? Drop by our office in Paracas, we’ve got maps and good vibes waiting.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Yep, no drama. You can cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your tour with no fee. After that, there’s a 50% charge — we’ve already set things up (and we don’t wanna leave the sea lions waiting alone).
What if I’m late or miss the tour?
Our tours leave right on time — Swiss clock style. If you’re late and we’ve already taken off, we can’t wait… but don’t worry, we’ll do our best to get you on the next group, either that day or the next.
Are there discounts for groups?
Of course! Whether you’re traveling with your crew, your partner, your family, or your new hostel buddies — we’ve got special group deals. Just tell us how many and we’ll sort it out.
How do I know my booking is confirmed?
You’ll get an email (or WhatsApp if you prefer) with all the details: meeting point, exact time, what to bring. Super clear, no guesswork.
What’s included in your tour
No need to pack your whole closet. We’ll tell you what’s included so you can show up light and ready.
What’s included in the price?
Everything you need to have fun stress-free: transport, a fun guide, entry tickets, and gear (like life jackets or goggles, if needed). Just bring your good vibes — we’ve got the rest covered.
What’s NOT included?
Food (unless stated), souvenirs, and your own personal cravings. No hidden costs, no surprises.
Are there tours with meals included?
Some of them, yep! Full-day tours often include lunch or snacks. We’ll let you know from the start, so you’ll know if it’s BYO sandwich or ceviche time.
Should I bring cash?
Yes, a little bit of cash always helps. For snacks, souvenirs, or tipping if you feel like it. Some places are card-free zones.
Is insurance included?
Yes, all tours come with basic emergency insurance. That said, it’s always a smart move to travel with your own coverage — just in case.
During the tour
Wondering what goes down on board or along the way? Here’s what you need to know to make the most of the ride.
What should I wear?
Think “adventurer with style”: comfy clothes, sunscreen, sunglasses, a cap, and a light jacket if it’s early. Not a fashion show, but hey — you’ll want good pics.
Can I bring snacks or drinks?
Absolutely! Water, fruit, energy bars — go for it. But no alcohol, please. This trip should be epic, not blurry.
What if it rains or the weather changes?
Your safety is priority number one. If the weather’s off, we’ll reschedule or refund you. Nature sometimes has a mind of its own — we roll with it.
What kind of transport do you use?
We use our own vehicles and boats. Clean, comfy, and ready to roll. No private jets, but straight-up adventure machines.
Can I take photos during the tour?
Of course! You’ll want to capture every moment. Just respect the wildlife (no selfies with sea lions, please) and follow your guide for the best angles.
Timing & locations
Where does it all start—and when? Here’s your treasure map with key spots and times so you don’t miss a thing.
Can you pick me up in Ica or Huacachina?
Yes, we can arrange extra transport from those areas. Just give us a heads-up and we’ll take care of it — no logistics puzzle needed.
Where does the tour start?
Usually from our office in Paracas or other meeting points we’ll confirm in advance. No stress, we keep it well organized.
What time does each tour start?
Every tour has its own schedule — we’ll remind you in advance and send a message the day before so you don’t miss a thing.
Can I do more than one tour on the same day?
You bet! Lots of travelers do Ballestas Islands in the morning and the National Reserve in the afternoon. We’ll help you plan the perfect combo.
How long is each tour?
- Ballestas Islands: 2 to 2.5 hours
National Reserve: 4 to 5 hours
Combo tours: full-day vibes!
