1. General Provisions

1.1. Definitions:
“Trekker” refers to the company that operates tours and provides tourism services.
“Client” or “User” refers to any individual who books or participates in a tour offered by Trekker.
“Tour” or “Service” refers to any activity operated and marketed by Trekker.

1.2. Acceptance of Terms:
By booking or participating in a tour with Trekker, the client acknowledges having read, understood, and fully accepted these terms and conditions.

1.3. Modifications:
Trekker reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. The most recent version will be available on our website.

2. Bookings and Payments

2.1. Booking Process:
Bookings can be made through our website, at our offices, or through our authorized agents.
A booking is considered confirmed once payment has been processed and the client has received the corresponding confirmation.

2.2. Payment Methods:
We accept payments via credit cards, bank transfers, and other methods indicated on our platform.
Payments must be made in the currency specified at the time of booking.

2.3. Prices and Rates:
All prices are stated in the local currency and are subject to change without prior notice.
The tour price includes only the services specified in the tour description. Any additional expenses are the responsibility of the client.

2.4. Promotions and Discounts:
Promotions and discounts are valid only on the specified dates and under the stated conditions.
They cannot be combined with other offers unless otherwise stated.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

3.1. Cancellations by the Client:
More than 48 hours before the tour: 100% refund or date change at no additional cost.
Between 24 and 48 hours before the tour: A penalty of 50% of the total tour cost will apply.
Less than 24 hours before the tour: No refund or rescheduling will be granted.
No-show (absence without prior notice): No refund or date change will be granted.

3.2. Cancellations by Trekker:
In case of cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control (extreme weather, operational issues, etc.), the client may choose to reschedule the tour or receive a full refund.
Trekker reserves the right to modify itineraries, schedules, or activities when necessary for safety or operational reasons.

3.3. Refund Processing Times:
Refunds will be processed within 5 to 10 business days, depending on the payment method used.

4. Client Participation and Responsibilities

4.1. Physical and Health Conditions:
Some tours may require moderate physical effort or be subject to changing weather conditions.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they are in suitable condition to participate in the activity.

4.2. Travel Insurance:
Trekker does not provide travel or medical insurance. Clients are advised to purchase personal travel insurance.

4.3. Compliance with Rules and Safety:
Clients must follow all instructions given by Trekker guides and staff.
We reserve the right to deny participation to any individual who poses a risk to themselves or others.

5. Policy for Minors

5.1. Age Requirements:
Children under 1 year old: Not allowed to participate in our land or sea tours.
Minors under 17: Must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

5.2. Rates and Conditions:
Children under 5: May participate free of charge if not occupying an additional seat.
Minors accompanied by someone other than their parents or legal guardians: Must present a written authorization signed by their legal guardians.

5.3. Safety:
All minors must wear life jackets on sea tours and follow the safety instructions provided by the guides.

6. Privacy Policy

Trekker is committed to protecting its clients’ privacy. The collection, use, and storage of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy, which can be reviewed in detail on our website.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1. Use of Content:
All content on our website, social media, and promotional materials (texts, images, videos, logos) is the property of Trekker. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

7.2. Use of Client Images:
We may take photos and videos during tours for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in such materials, please notify us in advance.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1. Force Majeure:
Trekker is not responsible for tour cancellations or changes due to events beyond our control, such as adverse weather, natural disasters, or political situations.

8.2. Loss of Personal Items:
We are not liable for the loss or damage of personal belongings during the tour. Clients are advised to take care of their items.
